Under the leadership of Director Luo Yunquan and Director Zhao Chunying, the Department of Surgery at Shanghai International Medical Center (SIMC) is supported by a highly qualified and experienced team of medical and nursing professionals. The department provides surgical care across General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Orthopedics, and Urology. General Surgery includes subspecialties such as Gastrointestinal Surgery, Thyroid and Breast Surgery, Hernia Surgery, and Hepatobiliary Surgery. The department offers a comprehensive range of surgical services, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgery. In addition to its in-house specialists, the Department of Surgery works closely with renowned specialists, professors, and medical teams from leading tertiary hospitals in Shanghai. Through outpatient appointments and consultations with specially invited specialists, patients have access to high-quality and efficient specialist care at SIMC.
