Introduction

Tang Jianxian, male, chief physician, professor; member of the Standing Committee of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; leader of the Hernia and Abdominal Surgery Group of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; member of the Professional Committee of General Surgery of Shanghai City Medical Association; Editorial board of "China Journal of Practical Surgery" and "Journal of Surgical Theory and Practice". From 1992 to 2003, he visited and studied in the United States six times. In 1997, he took the lead in developing tension-free hernia repair technology for the treatment of abdominal external hernia in China. Several tension-free hernias have been used to treat nearly 1200 cases of various inguinal hernias and 200 cases of various abdominal hernias. Research topics include: "application of tension-free repair technology in the treatment of abdominal external hernia" and "multi-center epidemiological study of inguinal hernia." Participated in the formulation of the "Treatment Plan for Inguinal Hernia and Femoral Hernia" and the "Treatment Plan for Incisional Hernia" of the Chinese Society of Surgery. Together with relevant domestic experts, he proposed the theory of "Comprehensive Repair of Inguinal Hernia Treatment". Published more than 40 expert written talks, works and experience introductions. Participated in the translation of "Nyhus & Condons Hernia Surgery" and served as deputy editor-in-chief of "Modern Hernia Surgery" being compiled.
