His main research direction is clinical treatment and basic research on prostate cancer. He has published dozens of papers at home and abroad, and presided over and participated in many research projects in the country and Shanghai City.

Gu Zhengqin, MD, chief physician, master's supervisor; Deputy Director of the Department of Urology, Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; Member of the Urology Oncology Group of the Urology Branch of Shanghai City Medical Association; Member of Urology Branch of Shanghai City Medical Doctor Association; Member of the Medical Robot Promotion and Development Branch of China Medical Education Association; Member of the Prostate Cancer and Kidney Cancer Study Group of the Professional Committee of Urology and Male Genital Oncology of China Anti-Cancer Association. Engaged in clinical work for more than 30 years. In 2004, he graduated from the Second Military Medical University with a doctorate; from 2004 to 2006, he studied and worked at the Postdoctoral Mobile Station of Fudan University; in June 2012, he went to the Department of Urology at the University of Chicago Medical Center to study new robot-assisted laparoscopic minimally invasive treatment techniques for prostate cancer and kidney cancer. In May 2018, I went to the University of Southern California School of Medicine to study the progress of minimally invasive treatment of prostate cancer.
