Introduction

Li Zheng, male, chief physician of the Department of Urology, professor, doctor, doctoral supervisor, director of the Department of Andrology, Center of Urology, First People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, deputy director of Reproductive Medicine Center, has long been engaged in clinical and scientific research in urology and andrology and reproductive medicine, with special attention to male infertility (Standardized treatment of azoospermia, microsurgery for male infertility), male dysfunction, prostate diseases, sperm function and cryopreservation, male menopause, clinical and scientific research on induced differentiation of stem cells into sperm. Served as a specially invited reviewer or editorial board member of important international and domestic journals in the field of male reproduction. He is currently an expert in the review of the Reproductive Medicine Sperm Bank of the Ministry of Health. With the support of the 100-Person Program of the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, he worked as a visiting scholar in the Reproductive Medicine Laboratory of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Chinese University of Hong Kong from February to July 2007, engaged in research on sperm function. From August 2007 to March 2008, with the support of the National Scholarship Council, he served as a visiting scholar at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto in Canada to conduct in-depth discussions on the experimental research on the differentiation of stem cells into sperm.
