In 2000, he obtained a doctorate in surgery from Shanghai Second Medical University and studied under Professor Li Hongwei, a famous surgeon in my country. In 2002, he went to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the United States for further study. In 2004, he went to Hannover Medical School in Germany for further study with funding from the German Academic Exchange Fund (DAAD) and the "Second Medical University Hundred Talents Program". In 2015, he went to Yonsei University and Chuo University in South Korea to study and exchange. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases, portal hypertension, hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases and digestive tract tumors.
