Since 1994, he has served as associate professor of neurology at Changzheng Hospital, Second Military Medical University. In 2003, he served as chief physician of the Department of Neurology, Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Currently: Member of the Neurology Branch of China Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chairman of the Pain and Sensthesia Specialized Committee of the Neurology Branch of China Medical Doctor Association; Director of China Stroke Society; Vice President of the Neurology Branch of China Geriatrics Society; Deputy Leader of the Head-Facial Pain Group of the Pain Society of Chinese Medical Association; Member of the Standing Committee of the Professional Committee for Stroke Prevention and Control of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association; Chairman designate of the Stroke Specialty Branch of Shanghai Medical Association. He serves as deputy editor-in-chief of the China Journal of Physician Training, and is an editorial board member of 18 other professional magazines such as the Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine, the Chinese Journal of Neurology, the Chinese Journal of Cardiovascular and Cardiovascular Diseases in the Elderly, the Chinese Journal of Pain Medicine, the China Journal of Neuropsychiatric Diseases, and the China Journal of Stroke. The first person to complete the project has undertaken many major scientific research projects of the national, ministerial and municipal science and technology commissions. Published more than 250 papers in Chinese and English. Editor-in-chief of 4 professional works. Participated in the compilation of 4 nationally compiled textbooks, 20 Chinese and 3 English academic works.
