Introduction

He Yonggang, deputy chief physician, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2000 with a medical doctor. From 2000 to 2001, he was officially sent to the Medical School of the University of Nice, France, and obtained a specialist diploma in thyroid and digestive tract tumors surgery; from 2011 to 2014, he was employed as a visiting scholar at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in the United States, responsible for clinical research on thyroid and digestive tract tumors; Shanghai City's second batch of "group-style" medical cadres and talents to assist Tibet. He is currently the deputy chief physician of the Department of General Surgery and Gastrointestinal Surgery of Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the deputy director of the Clinical Research Center of Ruijin Hospital (North Hospital) Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and the general director of the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Research interests include tumor risk and prognosis assessment markers, fecal DNA testing and screening technology for bowel cancer, artificial intelligence diagnosis technology for thyroid nodules, genetic colorectal cancer susceptibility genes, etc. China is the first in carrying out research on ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration cytological diagnosis of thyroid nodules and its application and clinical practice, bringing the diagnosis of thyroid microcarcinoma to the international leading level.
