He is currently the deputy leader of the Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology Group of the Chinese Society of Ophthalmology, the leader of the Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology Group of the Shanghai City, the academic leader of the Shanghai City, the deputy chairman of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Ophthalmology, a member of the Basic Research Committee of the Chinese Society of Ophthalmology, a member of the Neuroophthalmology Group of the Chinese Society of Ophthalmology, and the editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology and other journals. He has conducted 7 years of clinical and research work in ophthalmology at Stanford University in the United States and Karolinska University in Sweden. Published 65 SCI papers (40 newsletters/first authors in the past 5 years), and his representative works have been published in authoritative ophthalmology journals such as PNAS (3 papers), Circulation, JCI, JAMA Ophthalmology and Ophthalmology. He won 8 invention patents as the first inventor, won the first prize of Tianjin City Science and Technology Progress Award, the Shanghai City Science and Technology Youth Outstanding Contribution Award, and the first prize of the 2019 Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
