Introduction
Zhao Chunying, Chief Physician and Master's Supervisor, is Director of the Department of Surgery II and concurrently Director of the Department of Breast Surgery at Shanghai International Medical Center. She previously founded and headed the Department of Breast Surgery at Shuguang Hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She serves as Chair of the Breast Health Academic Committee, Institute of Healthy Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Vice Chair of the Expert Committee of the Healthy China Tour – Women's Cancer Prevention and Control Program; Standing Director of the International Promotion and Cooperation Consortium for Appropriate Technologies, China Association of Chinese Medicine; Standing Committee Member of the Breast Committee, Chinese Research Hospital Association; Standing Committee Member of the Precision Breast Reconstruction Committee, Precision and Digital Medicine Branch, Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics; Member of the Chinese American Oncologist Association; Standing Committee Member of the Shanghai Appropriate Technology Committee; Member of the Breast Cancer Committee, Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association; Member of the Shanghai Committee of Psychosomatic Medicine in Integrative Medicine; and an appointed expert of the science and technology expert databases of both the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Pudong New Area. She has led 16 research projects and received the Second Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the Shanghai Award for Science and Technology in Integrative Chinese and Western Medicine. She holds one national patent, has published more than 40 academic papers in Chinese and international journals, and has authored six books.
