Introduction

Liu Wei, male, professor of plastic surgery at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 1983. He served as a resident and attending physician at the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from 1983 to 1993. He went to the United States to study in 1993 and received a doctorate from Arkansas State Medical University in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he conducted postdoctoral research on wound healing and scarring at the Institute of Plastic Surgery at New York University. In 2000, he returned to China to carry out research on the basics of tissue engineering and plastic surgery, wound healing and scarring. He served as deputy director of the Shanghai City Institute of Replastic Surgery, director of the Shanghai City Key Laboratory of Tissue Engineering, deputy director of the National Engineering Research Center for Tissue Engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It has undertaken the national "973" sub-project,"863" and national key R & D project organization engineering projects, 6 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and key projects such as wound healing and stem cell research of the Shanghai City Science and Technology Commission.
