He is currently the vice president, director of the Respiratory Department, and director of the Respiratory Disease Research Office of the Affiliated Pulmonary Hospital of Tongji University. He graduated from Tongji Medical University in 1982 with a bachelor's degree; graduated from Tongji Medical University in 1992 with a master's degree. In 2008, he obtained a clinical doctorate from Soochow University. Doctoral and master's supervisor at Tongji University, and master's supervisor at Soochow University.
